The Kitzur Shulchan Aruch states that there is a custom to buy wheat and distribute it to the poor for Passover.

Every year, we begin the Passover Seder by inviting those that are poor to join us in our meal.  This is because that one cannot truly feel free if one does not take care of those in need.

This Year, Yeshivat Nahar Deiah distributed hundreds of food packages including Matzot and wine for the seder to unfortunate families in Israel.

Thanks to all those who were a part of this age old tradition and helped strengthen Israel's border town of Nahariya.
