The Machal Hesder program creates a framework for students who have studied in an approved yeshiva in Eretz Yisrael for at least one year to serve in the Israeli army integrated with intense Torah learning at the yeshiva.
The program includes intense preparation courses prior to the army, logistic and friendly support throughout the service in the army, and studying in the yeshiva after the army service alongside with your Israeli peers.
The yeshiva sets as a top priority:
Service in the army as a means of serving Hashem and the Jewish people with trued dedication and a feeling of responsibility.
To give special emphasis on the cooperation between Israeli students and the overseas' students, forming a bond with Israel and its citizens.
To create a warm environment [heimish] that is conducive to form bonds between peers and Rabbanim of the Yeshiva.
